Postage Settings

To get to the Postage Settings page, log into your Fillz account, click on Account, and then Postage Settings.

You need to configure Postage Settings if you have an Endicia Premium account and use DAZzle to print your postage, or if you use Stamps.com.

Operating System - Select "Windows" or "OS X" (Macintosh).

Max weight to auto-upgrade to First Class - Fill in a weight if you would like to limit shipments that are sent first class

Delivery Confirmation - You can have this set to “Only for Priority” or “All Postage Classes”. If you set it to “All Postage Classes” you can use the Minimum order total for non-Priority Delivery Confirm field on the line below to limit order amounts that get delivery confirmation, if you don’t want it on for all orders. Note: If you’re using Stamps.com, tracking is required for all packages.

Signature Confirmation - You can have this set to “Never”, “Only for Priority”, or “All Postage Classes”.

Consolidator Label - If you are using DAZzle and have had your DAZzle account set up to offer UPSMI, you will need to enable the Consolidator Label. Options are “Never”, “Only for Standard”, “Only for Priority”, “Only When Manually Selected”, and “All Postage Classes”. The default shipping method is Parcel Select. If you wish to use Bound Printed Matter instead, you can manually change the “Method” for one order at a time (using the drop down within an order), or for an entire batch of orders (using the drop down in the Green Bar) when you are on the Postage page.

Include Insurance - You can have this set to “Never”, “Only for Priority”, or “All Postage Classes”. If you set it to “All Postage Classes” you can use the Min order total to include insurance field on the line below to limit order amounts that include insurance, if you don’t want it on for all orders.

Round down partial ounces below - You can select values from 0 (no rounding) to 0.9. The weights will be rounded down when you export your orders. The User Interface will still show exact weights.

Estimate postage from Zip code - If you fill your Zip code into this box, Fillz will be able to estimate the cost of shipping your orders to the buyers using different postage methods so you can easily decide how to ship your orders. This data comes from USPS.

Max postage batch size (# of orders) - By default the postage will only show 25 orders. This is what happens if you do not fill a number into this field. If you have a large volume of sales and would like to print postage for more orders at a time, you can change this number. The maximum number you can enter into this field is 400.

Customs Signer - If you will be using Endicia and printing Customs labels for international shipments, you can fill a name into this field and it will be displayed on the Customs form.

Default Weight - If you fill in this field, items in the Shipping Workflow that don't have a weight (items you have not uploaded a weight for) will default to the value you've entered. The weight estimates option will be disabled if you use this option.

Default Priority to Flat Rate - Check this box if you would like to default priority to flat rate shipping.

Do not use global weight estimates - This will disable the Get Estimates button in the Shipping Workflow.
