Customize Emails

You can create your own Custom Emails to notify buyers when their items have been shipped, cancelled or deferred. These emails will be sent to your buyers if you move your orders with the “Shipped ” option in your Fillz account, or if you use FTP or API to manage your orders. In order to adhere to marketplace policies, confirmation emails will not be sent for orders placed on these marketplaces:

  • Amazon(s)
  • Alibris
  • Barnes & Noble

To configure your emails, please follow the directions below:

  1. After logging into your Fillz account, click Account.
  2. Click on Order Settings.
  3. Fill in the templates for Confirmation, Cancellation and Defer (backorder) emails.
  4. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

We have provided an example template below that includes all possible fields. If you wish to use this example, copy and paste the entire message as it is shown into the “Confirmation email” field, then edit the text as needed.

  Expedited shipping takes between 3 to 6 business days.
  Regular shipping takes 7-14 days, although, in some
  extreme cases can take up to a month. International
  shipping takes longer.

  • The first line of the template must be a “Subject” header.
  • You can also customize your Cancellation and Deferred emails.
  • If you do not wish to receive a copy every time an email is delivered to your buyers, check the "Do not send me a copy of any confirmation, cancellation, or deferral emails" box.
  • HTML is not supported in confirmation emails.

This is a list of all available values that can be added to templates:

%ORDERID%

This will display the Fillz order number

%BILLNAME%

This will display the buyers name from their billing address

%SOURCE%

This will display the name of the marketplace that the order came from
%MARKETID%
This will display the marketplace order number
%SHIPTO% This will display the shipping address of the buyer
%TITLESNOTES% This will show the title of the item and your description of it
%METHOD% The shipping method indicated on the order (Standard, Expedited, etc.)
%TRACKING% If you added tracking to the order, this value will be populated with the carrier and the tracking number. For example: USPS - 91561321651131
%TRACKINGBARE% If you added tracking to the order, this value will be populated with number
%MYNAME% The name on the Account Information page of your Fillz account will be displayed
%MYEMAIL% The email address on the Settings page of your Fillz account will be displayed
%SKU% The SKUs of the ordered items will be displayed
%PRICE% The prices of the ordered items will be displayed
